Installation instructions for a Spray Kit
1.Lay out 13mm (1/2") Polytube along the areas to be watered from the tap to the furthest point you wish to water. If you are using ½" Tube the distance you can cover with the Spray Jets spaced at two metres apart will be approximately 40 metres in length on normal mains water pressure ie 25psi, once you get over 40 metres the pressure will start dropping when you use ½"pipe. If you have a large garden you will have to divide your watering into separate zones. When you are laying the 13mm Tube it will help if you pour hot water on the pipe to take out the spring in it so that it lies flat. When you have finished laying it all out, before you fit your 13mm End plugs at the end of each line, screw the Tap connector on to the tap and turn on the tap to flush out any sediment from the 13mm tube. 2.You are now ready to locate your Spray jets. For the best results set the Sprays between one and a half to two metres apart. Simply pierce a hole with the Punch into the 13mm Tube and then self tap a Jet into the top of a threaded Rigid Riser and then screw the Riser with Jet into the hole. Where Spray Jets are used for overhead watering eg.Polytunnels, Shadehouses, attach the tubing to supporting beams, punch a hole in the13mm tube and self tap a Jet spray directly into the hole, or alternatively cut the riser to the desired height and screw a riser with Jet into the hole. Your Spray System is now ready to put into operation. Simply turn on your tap, each Spray Jet will apply water at a rate of approximately 60 litres per hour. If the Spray Jet begins to mist too much, the pressure is too high, reduce the pressure by turning down the Tap. If you put too many jets on the line the sprays will not give the required cover needed so you will have to reduce the amount on the line, the amount you can have depends on your water pressure. EXTRA ITEMS YOU MIGHT ADD TO YOUR KIT Location Riser Pipe Stake: it has two uses a)To hold the 13 mm Tube to the ground and b)To hold the Rigid Riser in a vertical position. Microstake: this allows you to position your Spray Jets away from the main 13mm feeder Tube, attached to the Microstake is a 4mm Joiner Offtake and a 4mm Sealing plug which you break off to use. To use the 4mm Joiner simply pierce a hole in the 13mm Tube with the Punch, connect one end of the barb of the 4mm joiner to a length of 4mm Polytube, push the other end of the 4mm barb into the hole which you have made with the punch and then run the 4mm Polytube to where you wish to place the Microstake. If you wish to adjust the height of the Jet simply self tap the threaded end of a Rigid Riser into the 4mm Polytube and then self tap a Spray jet into the top of the Riser and then snap the Riser into the groove in the side of the Microstake, you will now be able to adjust the height of the spray by sliding the Riser up or down the Microstake.

Installation instructions for a Drip Kit
STEP 1 a) Screw the Tap Connector on to the Tap or Tap Timer and push on 13mm tube, in areas of high pressure use a Pressure Reducer Code 0090. b) When operating the system turn the tap on slowly half a turn at a time until each Dripper has a constant flow rate. c) If the water has impurities install an Inline Filter and secure with 13mm Locking Clamps. d) Using Variable Flow Drippers the flow can be adjusted by rotating the Dripper head. Fixed Flow Drippers provide a set amount of water per hour. STEP 2 Lay 13mm Tube alongside your Pots, Hanging baskets, Shrubs or Trees, decide where you will need 13mm Tees, Elbows, and End Plugs. Cut 13mm Tube with Scissors, insert the correct fitting and secure with a 13mm Locking Clamp if required. To connect the 4mm Tube to the 13mm Tube, using the Punch, make a hole in the 13mm Polytube and push the 4mm Barbed Joiner with it connected to the 4mm Polytube into the hole made by the Punch, when you push the 4mm Joiner into the 13mm Tube make sure that it has clicked firmly in the Hole, run the 4mm Tube where you want to place a Dripper, cut the 4mm Tube and push it onto the Barb on the Dripper. Place the Drippers about 5cm away from the base of each plant. Finally push on a 13mm End Plug secured with a 13mm Locking Clamp at the end of each branch of the 13mm Tube.
